It’s been nice to take time off, but I really miss teaching my full schedule, and connecting with you.
Being isolated has made me realize, more than ever, what an important part of my life teaching is.
I see teaching as an ever-evolving, dynamic relationship.
You, my students, have so much wisdom – I learn so much from you, and you truly feed my soul.
I love that my classes give me the opportunity to practice a specific methodology and structure, and at the same time, I get to watch and learn how different students integrate the postures and practices.
Bruce Lee says we should aim to learn technique, practice technique, and then forget technique.
This approach speaks to the organic nature of practice and learning. It helps us release the notion that we need to do things one way, or be perfect.
That said, I cannot wait to get back to teaching, and I would love to see you in class this fall!
Here’s more information on each offering, and sign-up links…

Functional range conditioning nourishes the joints and restores mobility, while balance postures foster strength and stability.
Conscious stretching releases tension and promotes transformational change in the body and mind.
Class concludes with a 10-minute meditation practice.

Yin Yoga is a slow, deep, recuperative class for body and mind.
We nourish the connective tissue, fascia, joints, tendons, and ligaments through long-held, passive poses.
Based in Daoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin Yoga is a contemplative practice that increases circulation throughout the body. It allows for greater motility through the hips, hamstrings, and low back.
Yin Yoga brings balance to the organs through meridian stimulation, and reduces mental and emotional tension.

Qi gong is considered an energy practice, and one of the pillars of Chinese medicine.
Qi means life energy, and gong means to cultivate. It’s a path to exercise the body without taxing the organ systems.
We use a blend of active and dynamic movements, breath, visualizations, meditation, and intention to cultivate a healthy flow of energy through the organs and meridians.
Qi gong replenishes our inner resources, improves vitality, and helps us manage our own energy.
We meet on Friday mornings at 10am on Zoom. Email me at michele@michelesapanaro.com for the link.
